Dave Simpson's current system:

Like me, Dave runs a CD only Briks system using Naim's original CDS mk. I CD player. Check out the number of 'Top-hat' pucks he owns for the mkI CDS' CDM4 transport. One can't have too many pucks. His Briks sit in a spacious room accented by Haywood Wakefield style modern furniture. I definatley dig the retro floor lamp. :)

Dave comments: "Discouraged with the availability of new music on vinyl and the skyrocketing costs of the best-sounding cartridges, I sold my LP-12-based Linn system in 1995. It was quickly replaced with my current, Naim CD-based system fueling an older pair of Canon-style Briks. Needless to say, the Briks perfectly complimented the new CD-Based system delivering all the important bits of the music without undue emphasis on the more clinical aspects of digital reproduction.

To this day, I have not found a pair of speakers that deliver more fun than a pair of briks except for Naim's own DBLs."
