The first submission from Hong Kong. Thomas, like me drive pair with a simple passive 500 set up. He's still getting used o the sound of Briks. I can only imagine how different it is from an Active 500 SL2 he was used to.

Thomas comments: " … I was listening to the naim SL2s, driven by Supercap DR SNAXO, and the Naim 552, and the 500s. Very satisfied and very enchanted with the setup. But I always wanted to hear what the briks could do…the briks driven by one 500 in passive mode is pleasing enough, I decided to try it out when this ash black pair came on the market about six weeks ago. Very responsive, the highs are quite different from the SL2s, esp with them in active mode. But not bad at all! And the bottom octaves are fast, agile and seemingly in ample supply. I can't understand why people would see them as dry or woolly or heavy or only suited to one kind of music…
