Mat runs a stunning TMS2, the flagship record player from Roksan. He was first introduced to a Roksan Xerxes with a pair of Kans and fell in love with the Roksan sound. I suspect it's a wonderful pairing.

Mat comments: "...I am really happy with this vinyl source only system, it is balanced, immediately involving and gets to the heart of the music. My taste ranges from Bach Cantatas and organ music to contemporary free form jazz and 1970's rock. Although if I had the money I would look to upgrading, the system has reached a level of satisfaction that I don't feel the need to upgrade. I find it hard to criticise and have no little niggling doubts when listening.

As for the Isobariks, I have always used Linn speakers, at least with Naim electronics. My system  grew out of the classic flat earth set-up. I first got into serious Hi-Fi around 1987, funnily enough the same year my Isobariks were made...

So along came the Briks finally in 2004, and I was really pleased with them, they opened up the whole musical stage and gave a much more rounded and complete presentation, truly bringing something very special to the listening experience.
I found my listening sessions were growing.
Not long after I came across the chance of a Roksan TMS. Another big step forward in musical enjoyment, so much more authority and freedom from the intrusion of mistracking and surface noise...You can throw any pressing, any musical genre at the TMS and it never disappoints...

...I'm glad that my friend persisted in nagging me to get a pair, they have opened up the listening experience and have a totally immersive sound world. "
